I have the PSC high octave Sabian crotales with me, as we will be using them at the upcoming All-Florida Community Band Concert at the 2019 FBA Summer Conference in Daytona Beach. I decided to do a little sound comparison between these and the Weiss Saucer Bells I mentioned in a previous post.
They definitely don’t sound exactly the same, but … the price difference…
The sound is similar with plastic mallets. With aluminum mallets, I can barely tell any difference.
