Not too impressed with WindStream so far

I got my Internet connection on phone line turned on today, one day before the due date. The only problem is that the modem isn’t here. The tech who connected it outside said that it should have arrived today, so it would be here tomorrow. I got a voicemail from my mom an hour later, and she told me that the modem arrived at my parents’ house. I called WindStream, and they said that the online orders automatically ship the modem to the "billing address". How much sense does that make? Doesn’t "billing address" typically mean the address on your credit card?! They said that they would mail me a new one and send my parents a return stamp, but since I’m going to be going to Pensacola for my birthday on Friday, there is really no need. The woman on at customer service said she would credit me back for the few days that I did not have a connection if I call her back when I pick up the modem and get back to Live Oak. I appreciated her help, but still… how lame is that…
