The New… Everything…

Well, most of you can’t read this right now, but some of you can. Here it is, my new weblog system. Isn’t it lovely? I think so. After dot.tk starting putting an entry page on my website instead of a plain popup, I got fed up with free services. So, I bought webhosting which included a domain name: bigmalletman.com. For now, the site is not finished; however, I have told a few people about the weblog and forums. There will be a lot of differences between this version of Daniel’s Web Land and previous versions. Mainly, this site allows user input. It still has the dreambook which is now ad free. It also has a discussion forum, where you can talk about whatever you want. For now, I am not moderating the board. You can say whatever you want. If it gets out of hand, and I suspect it will, I’ll take action. In addition, this weblog allows views to comment. As with the board, for now, you can say whatever you want. If it gets out of hand, I’ll take action. The site is near completion. Most of the things are moved over to the new format. The only thing left for me to work on, I think, is the photo gallery. Moving over that many pictures will take some time. I am well open for suggestions. This site supports PHP, CGI, Quicktime Streaming, and a load of other things. The possibilities are only limited to my 2.4 GB space limit. I also have an email server and a Jabber server. I haven’t made much use of either one, but we could. I can set up email accounts for people, if I go that route. And we can use the Jabber server to set up our own Instant Messaging or chat rooms. I actually got a lot more than I was thinking I would out of this package, and I look forward to learning and exploring.
Suggestions anyone?
