Christmas (That’s C H R I S T, not X)

Well, I’ll start with this: My mucus has turned back to its healthy shade of clear. I know that’s not a good thing to read before eating, but it’s good! I am no longer sick, and I didn’t even have to see a doctor. I still sniffle, but the infection has cleared up. I think the sniffle will go away sooner or later.
So, for Christmas… what did I get? From Mom and Dad, I got a Secure Digital Memory Card for my PocketPC. Its 256MB, so I now have plenty of memory. I also got a SmartPad2 for my PocketPC. That’s a little harder to explain. It is a leather carrying case that has a lot of nifty things on it. It has this pad on it. You put a 5 x 8 writing pad on top of it. When you write on the paper with this special pen (which is also a stylus), it copies the writing onto the PocketPC through an inferred sender. It also has a large touch keyboard similar but larger to the one on the PocketPC. It’s really neat. It also has a cell phone holder in it. Which brings me to the gift that Nannie got me. She got me a cell phone, which is a complete surprise to me. It’s a Nokia 3585i phone. It has a lot of features on it, and I don’t know exactly how to use them all yet, but I’m learning. I use Simple Freedom service from Alltel. I basically buy minutes every two months. As long as I add as number of minutes within two months, I don’t lose any minutes. I’m not too sure how I feel about having a cell phone. I barely use the phone I have now, but I guess it’s good for emergencies or something. The phone just sits in my SmartPad2 for now. I am going to get a cable for my PDA/Cell phone, so that I can synchronize my phone numbers. Isn’t that neat? I can also use my Cell phone as a modem for my PocketPC, but I probably won’t do that much either. Sister and Jeremy got me a neat gift. Underneath the load of AOL CDs (very funny!), I finally reached the actual gift. She got me the book by David Limbaugh: Persecution: How Liberals are Waging War Against Christianity. Oh boy! I’ve read parts of it already, and it is really good! Hannity was right. Brother and Stephanie got me two new belts, which is good. If you’ve seen my black belt lately… man… it’s just bad. Dad got his DVD player from Mom, which I had to help her pick out. I set it up for him. Heh… our entertainment system is really cool. Its got the TV, DirecTV, video tape player, CD player, DVD player, record player, and the Super Nintendo; all with surround sound. Well, I don’t use the SNES anymore, because I prefer to use emulators on my PC and PocketPC. Dad also got the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation, which is neat also. I don’t think Dad knows too much about how to use the DVD player. I think he’s a little intimidated by it, but that’s okay. I know how to use it. After all the mess, we ate fried shrimp, fried oysters, french fries, hushpuppies, and baked beans. I didn’t eat as much as I wanted, but that’s okay. I ate some this morning too.
Christmas would have been good… but I had a lot on my mind too…
